Acrodex in the Community
Acrodex is an active member of the community and values its community involvement as a fundamental social responsibility. Acrodex supports a variety of initiatives primarily focused on post secondary education, supporting youth and providing information technology leadership.
In November 2003, Acrodex launched a partnership with Alberta's Promise, an organization dedicated to making Alberta the best place to raise our children. As part of the Alberta
Promise, Acrodex has pledged to maintain and expand its contributions to organizations that work to provide our children with the best learning and growing environment.
Acrodex has played a major role in helping the Alberta Children's Hospital reach their dreams of providing healthier futures for children across Alberta.
Acrodex is proud to support the establishment of a new Children's hospital in Calgary set to open in 2006. Acrodex is also a supporter of a new general duty trauma unit at the Northern Lights Health Center in Fort McMurray.
Each year, Acrodex raises money in the campaign to fight global poverty through the World Partnership Walk. Acrodex has recently provided support to One! International, a volunteer organization located in Mumbai (Bombay) India working towards increasing the standard of living for orphaned children in that area.
Acrodex is also a major contributor to the funding of the new Computer Sciences facility at the University of Alberta.
