Assessments differentiate our solutions delivery approach. We like to lead any solutions delivery engagement with one of two types of assessments: a readiness assessment or an effectiveness assessment.
A readiness assessment answers the question “is a customer ‘ready’ to implement a given solution”, e.g. are all the steps in the process adequately identified and understood, similarly for costs and equipment, etc.
An effectiveness assessment answers the question “is a customer ‘effectively’ benefiting from a solution already in place”. Possibly some optimization or tuning of that solution could lead to greater benefits.
Both types of assessments are concise and formal exercises, furnishing a report identifying all steps, dependencies and costs associated with implementing a new solution or optimizing an existing one.
